Long before the Mini was a twinkle in Sir Alec Issigonis’s eye, Austin had already produced a small family car that captured the hearts of the nation – the A30.

The quirky 1955 2-door Austin A30 is full of character. This ever increasingly rare classic has been restored in a period 1950s racing style (following the St Mary’s Trophy Touring Car theme).

• Fitted with uprated disc brakes.
• Complete steering overhaul.
• Alternator conversion.
• New wheels and tyres.
• Flashing indicators. Still retains the original semaphores in working order.

The A30 and A35 are classics that retain a very strong following – and despite the fact that the Mini and Minor overshadowed the cute car commercially, there are enough fans out there to ensure that it will remain in the classic limelight for some time to come.
